I'm still here and the baby is still inside - yeah! Yesterday I reached the 31 week mark and today is my 33rd day in the hospital.
Earlier this week I was told that I now have wheel chair privileges -- 20 minutes two times a week. For a variety of reasons I had not taken advantage of this yet, but since its pretty nice out I decided that today was the day. So about 40 minutes ago for the first time since February 23rd I left my room. And, for the first time since February 18th I actually went outside. I've never appreciated a little bit of fresh air so much!

Glad you got to enjoy the weather a little bit! It looks like Jennifer and I will be in town part of the week of March 30; I'll be back again the week of April 13, too... we'll figure out how to come and visit you!
Jacks xx
I bet that was wonderful! How awesome for you.
Glad you're doing well.
Came over from Lost and Found. Hang in there!
I was on hospital bedrest for a month! My first ride in the chair outdoors was incredible. I had forgotten what a breeze felt like!!
Hang in there. Your time in bed will fade once you hald that little baby in your arms.
I'm so glad you got to get a bit of fresh air. THere is nothing like it in the world when you haven't had any. I remember when I was in last fall for the few months I used to wish I could crack my hospital window just to breathe it in. Meredith is so right...although this is such a drag now...it's amazing how quickly this time will become a distant memory when you have that little one in your arms. It almost seems like it was a decade ago...not just 4 months for us. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and keep up the good work...it's hard stuff being in there. But you're doing great!
Yeah for 31 weeks!
Great that you can get out -- I would be the same way. I hate being cooped up for long.
Hang in there. Eyes on the prize. :-)
Just checking in...???
